Then, coming back to the house with inviting light and warmth (though the night’s not actually that cold), more photos
‘As seen’
and with the exposure adjusted ‘brighter’ and the highlights dimmed in Lightroom. These shots with the Olympus f/2.0 prime lens, together with the OMD and shot in RAW (uncompressed) demonstrate how much can be done ‘after the camera’ with the file thus produced without needing to resort to HDR techniques (multiple differently exposed imaging combined for the ‘best of all worlds’) or similar ‘photoshopping’.
